In defence of Brown

Brown. 

It's not a terrible colour. In fact, sometimes it can be quite lovely. After a long day's shooting, a pint of something brown can be the best thing EVER. Especially after you've just opened the back of the camera by mistake, letting all the awful light in to spoil your shots (I do this, a lot - need to tape them shut). Newcastle Brown Ale has had a bit of a revival in recent years, and to celebrate, they've made a trio of rather funny videos, showing how your day is never so bad, it can't get a little better.

Also, I wish there were more pubs like this around near me. I recently went along to a tune session (ye olde English folk music!) and took some photos of the musicians and the pub itself - a tiny place, tucked away in the Sussex countryside. If I don't open the back of the camera by mistake before long, I'll post them up here :)

Check out the videos - they're only short, and worth a giggle, even if they did use cockney actors in an ad for NEWCASTLE Brown Ale. Ah well.
