The video was produced by Weiden+Kennedy, Holland, and directed by Fredrik Bond. Weiden+Kennedy seem to be a pretty cool agency - check out their shop, with such delights as pigeon jam and a paper suit :D The soundtrack is pretty cool too, featuring 60's Bollywood track Jaan Pehechaan Ho.
I've tried video before, mostly using my tiny Canon Ixus 100 (it does full HD!) - but these mostly involved wobbly camera work and far-too-close close ups. The Date reminded me of the club scene in Goodfellas, albeit not done in one long steadicam shot! Very cool if you've not seen it before, the modern equivalent being the long shot down through the stairs and out the building in Children of Men (which seems to have disappeared from the internet so I can't link it here).
The making of is also pretty funny and a bit tongue-in cheek, worth a watch!
